Welcome to the Boys Division Home Page!

During the season, this will be your starting point for accessing all of the information you'll need about the activities in the Boys Division.  Each League (4th Grade, 5th Grade, etc.) will have its own pages that can be accessed through the links to the right.  These League pages will include Team Rosters, Coaches, Game Results, Standings and Other Statistics. 

PVBA wants you to have as much information as you need - if you want to see something more that's not in here once the season begins, email us and let us know!

TRYOUT INFORMATION

Tryout times and dates have been revised and set as follows.  However, please check back on this site prior to the Tryouts as this information is subject to change.

For Boys ONLY
Sunday, October 11
Palos Verdes HS:

11:30 - 1:00  -  3rd Grade
1:00 - 3:00  -  4th Grade
3:00 - 5:00  -  5th Grade
5:00 - 7:00  -  6th Grade

Sunday, October 18
Peninsula HS:

12:30 - 2:00  -  8th Grade
2:00 - 4:00  -  7th Grade

There will be a Makeup Tryout Session for Boys in Grades 3-6 who missed the October 11 tryouts.  This session will be held between 11:30am - 12:30pm on Sunday, October 18 at Peninsula HS.  This will be the only Makeup session we will hold.

Each player will be required to sign in at the registration desk located near center court, where they will be issued their tryout number. Once registered, each player will be measured and weighed, then run through a brief series of individual drills followed by a short (3 to 5 minutes) 4-on-4 scrimmage.  These drills will take place in groups of 8 taken in order of appearance, i.e., first come-first served.  Each group of 8 players will then be reviewed in a final lineup, after which they will be free to leave. 

Parents are encouraged to get their sons to the gym 10 to 15 minutes early so that the tryouts can begin and end on time.
